Setser sixth with Midwest Thunder at Windy Hollow
Columbus, Indiana's Gunnar Setser was on the move Saturday night at Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, Kentucky, joining the non-wing Midwest Thunder 410 Sprint Cars for the $2,500-to-win Spring Thaw - their first event of the year. Setser, who activated his 2026 season with a mix of non-wing and Midget starts across the South and Great Plains, finished sixth in the highly-anticipated Spring Thaw, climbing his way forward from 15th on the grid. In fact, Setser's nine-position jump was the greatest of the field, a great rebound after a failed qualifying attempt and a poor heat race outcome.
