Setser rallies big in Saturday's first of two Chili Bowl Nationals C-Mains
In all, it was a sound Chili Bowl Nationals effort for Columbus, Indiana's Gunnar Setser, and although he was shy of battling in Saturday's 55-lap finale, he did his best to get there, eventually concluding his Tulsa slate with a C-Main appearance after first competing in the evening's first of two D-Mains.
In fact, Setser, the 2025 USAC National Sprint Cars Rookie of the Year, finished fourth in Saturday's first 15-lap D-Main, allowing him to lineup 19th in the first of two C-Mains; he raced on to finish 11th with only five making the cut.
