Setser to continue West Coast USAC Midget invasion at Bakersfield and Ventura
It's been a hard-fought USAC National Midgets West Coast campaign for Columbus, Indiana's Gunnar Setser, and despite recent results equaling no better than 20th, doing so in a Merced Speedway doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, November 21-22, his will to make progress is everlasting, already setting aim on another pair of starts at Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway and Ventura Raceway on November 25 and 29, respectively.
As noted, Setser's most recent West Coast start occurred at Merced Speedway in Merced, California, finishing 21st and 20th in the pair of $5,000-to-win programs. The aforementioned events at Bakersfield and Ventura, each also in California, will not only conclude USAC's West Coast invasion, but the 2025 USAC National Midgets championship, as well.
