Setser earns back-to-back USAC top-tens in Lawrenceburg's Fall Nationals
Two starts at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, resulted in back-to-back top-tens for Columbus, Indiana's own Gunnar Setser, ultimately concluding the facility's annual Fall Nationals featuring the USAC National Sprint Cars still in charge of the Series' Rookie of the Year chase. In fact, Setser, who is currently tenth in the overall USAC championship, recorded outcomes no worse than ninth in his weekend outing on the Lawrenceburg highbanks, finishing tenth and ninth, officially, with each result occurring from the inside of row seven.
As noted, Setser is currently on top of the USAC National Sprint Cars Rookie of the Year chase, now ahead of Hayden Reinbold by a ten-point margin. Far from over, the stars and cars of the USAC National Sprint Cars will now hit the road, setting aim on visits to Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas, and Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, October 17-18.
