Victories For Setser At Rush County and U.S. 24
LOGANSPORT, Ind. (July 4, 2023) Getting back to his winning ways since recovering from a Dirt Bike accident in April, Indiana's Gunnar Setser collected a pair of victories in three showdowns this past weekend in Wingless competition at Rush County Fairgrounds in Rushville, Ind., and U.S. 24 Speedway in Logansport, Ind.
Starting with a win with the PureMax HART Non-Wing Micro Series at Rush County on June 28, Setser held off Greyson Springer by 0.040-seconds to lead from start to finish.
Rolling to U.S. 24 Speedway, Setser took on two classes of non-wing with a second win on the weekend coming in NOW600 RPM Stock Non-Wing competition. Chasing through the mid-point of the feature, Gunnar raced to the lead on Lap 17 and pulled away by 0.522-seconds.
Runner-up in the CSI Outlaw Non-Wing feature, the No. G5 moved from sixth to second over the 25 lap event.
