Pair of 13th-place finishes at Kokomo Speedway
Columbus native Gunnar Setser returned to Indiana soil over the weekend, making a competitive stop at Kokomo Speedway for a USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship doubleheader.
Setser opened the Saturday program deep in the field, starting from the ninth row after heat race action. Undeterred, he charged forward five spots to notch a 13th-place finish in the feature.
On Sunday, Setser showed consistency behind the wheel. After racing to a third-place result in his heat, he once again brought home a 13th-place finish in the 30-lap main event
