2025 Florida Speedweeks brings Seltzer to Volusia and Ocala
Gunnar Setser's trip to the Sunshine State continued this past week with a visit to Volusia Speedway Park for the Winter Dirt Games XVI / Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals.
In the first race of the USAC Amsoil Sprint Car National Championship doubleheader, Gunnar Setser made his debut aboard the Davis Bros. No. 5G Non-Wing Sprint Car. After securing a second-place finish in his semi, Setser advanced to the main event. Still acclimating to the car’s handling, he managed to improve one position, ultimately finishing 21st.
Back at the half-mile oval on Tuesday, Gunnar outran Ricky Lewis in his heat race to pick up the eight-lap victory. In the feature, Setser faded to a 15th-place outing at the checkers.
With the next four rounds of the Winter Dirt Games XVI taking place at Ocala Speedway from Wednesday through Saturday, Setser recorded finishes of 15th, 18th, 16th, and 22nd respectively.
